Superman's First Appearance in Comics

Superman, the American comic book superhero, first appeared in DC Comics Action Series Issue no. 1 (June 1938). 

He was the creation of Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster who envisioned him as a powerful hero, sent to Earth from a more advanced society.

Action Comics No. 1 (cover dated June 1938) is the first issue of the comic book/magazine series Action Comics and wad sold for 10 cents.

This comic book was the beginning of the superhero genre and the most valuable comic book in the world.
